The Dorset Coast UK -- 1001 Natural Wonders
The beautiful coastline from Dorset to Devon in the south of England is known as the Jurassic Coast Natural World Heritage site. It stretches 150km from younger white chalk cliffs to the east, progressively change to golden, and finally to oldest red rocks like Ladram Bay of Otterton near Exmouth to the west. This coast is the only place in the world that displays unbroken colorful evidence of 185 millions years time-span of the Earth history.
